Daniel Prayer Team (“we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share personal information when you use our website, bookstore, prayer forms, newsletter, and WhatsApp ministry tools.
Information we collect
- Identity and contact details: name, email, phone number, delivery address
- Order and payment metadata: items purchased, amounts, invoice numbers, payment method, and payment processor IDs (Razorpay / UPI references)
- Prayer requests, contact messages, ministry join requests, and newsletter subscriptions
- Cookie and consent preferences, device/browser user agent, and approximate technical logs needed for security
- WhatsApp interaction data when you message our ministry number via Meta WhatsApp Cloud API
How we use information
- Fulfill bookstore orders and customer support
- Process donations and send ministry communications you request
- Respond to prayer and contact submissions
- Improve the website and maintain security
- Comply with legal and accounting retention requirements
Storage and processors
Primary application data is stored in MongoDB. Depending on configuration, we may also use:
- Cloud hosting / object storage (for example AWS) for site assets
- Razorpay for online payments
- Meta WhatsApp Cloud API for messaging
- Email/SMTP providers for transactional and newsletter mail
- Analytics tools only if you opt in via cookie preferences
Cookies
Essential cookies are required for checkout and security. Analytics and marketing cookies are off by default until you accept them in our consent banner.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including GDPR/CCPA where relevant), you may request access to or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Submit a request via our Delete my data form or email [email protected]. We aim to respond within 30 days.
Retention
We retain order and payment identifiers needed for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance even after a privacy deletion request. In those cases we anonymize personal fields (name, email, phone, address) and mark records as redacted.
International orders
If you order from outside India, you remain responsible for customs duties and import clearance as described in our Shipping and Customs policy.
